Product Category: Independent Pattern Gallery > D.L. Designs

D.L. Designs Hat Patterns are a condensed "millinery course" designed and developed by professional milliners for all skill levels. These patterns offer a wide variety of hatmaking choices; from fabric covered buckram and wire bases and soft fabric hats, to delicate wire frames covered in sheers and laces.

Each of the patterns include: 1) Step-by-step illustrated instructions, 2) Full size patterns, 3) Glossary of Millinery terms and techniques, 4) Lists of required notions and supplies, and 5) Millinery supply sources.

D.L. Designs patterns are drawn up in the style of professional patterns - with no seam allowances added. You must add them. Each piece has specific notes as to where seam allowances are to be added.

Where noted, Wool Felt is recommended for several patterns in this line. To view our online selection of Wool Felt, please click here.
